I’m a historian of early modern Europe specializing in the histories of science, medicine, and philosophy. I recently completed a Ph.D. at the Dept. of History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine at Indiana University with a minor in Renaissance Studies. My dissertation (which is available here) was on Robert Boyle and the problem of generation.
My research has since been generously funded by the National Endowment for Humanities, who enabled me to spend the 2018-2019 academic year in Philadelphia as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Consortium for the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine. I currently reside with my husband and two cats, Bella and Sylvie, in Tallahassee, FL, where I am a visiting researcher at Florida State University College of Medicine.
